Each December, the Hermosa Beach community comes together to embrace the spirit of the season—through celebration, connection, and compassion.
Our signature event, the 12 Bars of Christmas Pub Crawl & Charity Toy Drive, is more than just a festive tradition. It's an opportunity for locals and visitors alike to rally around a great cause. Dressed in holiday cheer, participants explore Hermosa’s favorite bars while helping make the holidays brighter for children in need.

Our Mission
At the 12 Bars Hermosa Beach Charity Foundation, our mission is to strengthen the Hermosa Beach community through celebration, connection, and giving. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we create meaningful, festive events that bring people together—and give back in tangible ways. What started as a lighthearted holiday pub crawl among friends has grown into a beloved tradition that brings joy and essential support to hundreds of local families each year.
Why We Do It
We believe that joy has the power to unite—and that giving back is one of the most meaningful ways to celebrate. By combining festive gatherings with purposeful giving, we build stronger community bonds while directly impacting families in need. Through our annual toy drive, held in partnership with the Hermosa Beach Police Department, we ensure that the spirit of the season reaches those who need it most.

👕 What to Wear: Ugly holiday sweaters, Santa suits, elf gear, reindeer onesies—the more festive, the better!
🎁 Where Your Gift Goes: All donated toys will be collected by the Hermosa Beach Police Department and distributed to local families in need.
🎁 Donate a Toy-Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event or drop it off at any participating bar.
👯 Volunteer-Help us set up, decorate, and keep the event running smoothly.
